Holly Dougherty5 StarI recently hired Nick Poehl to represent a loved one in a felony criminal case. I knew this was an unjust arrest and set out to interview 3 highly recommended criminal defense attorneys in the Galveston County area. Nick took the most time explaining outcomes and course of action in an encouraging way during our consults. He was not the cheapest but did have a more reasonable payment plan that I appreciated. I’m sure this varies by case. Nick definitely impressed me with his experience and skill within the Galveston County legal system. He was always well prepared and present. Additionally his office was extremely informative on every legal form filed & every court date, text friendly and provided feedback regarding status of the case regularly. The communication was impeccable.
On a personal note, my loved one was young and Nick took the time to give some good constructive advice for future success in a non judgmental way. At no point did we feel like an inconvenience or felt rushed. Although I know he’s a busy attorney and family man. He will make the adequate time for you and doesn’t pass you off to an associate.
