Richard White1 StarAttorney, Samuel W. Veenstra, who had previously been "reprimanded" by the Texas State Bar. I had no previous knowledge of this reprimand. As a warning to all based on factual dealings with Sam, and his shared office mates at the time Attorney's John and Joe Isam Zaid, showed me after the fact, they are "evil" "lying", "cheating" "thieving" attorney's who conspired to engage in theft of Insurance funds by "trick" and "lying" including Attorney's John K. Zaid and Joe Isam. Zaid by using a calculated campaign of “deceit" to enrich themselfs of $ 70,000.00 including paying themselves each 22,22,222.22 Insurance Proceeds of my near fatal MVA. Sam and the 2, Zaid brother violated the "Texas Penal" Code - § 38.12 (2) by Attorneys Veenstra and Joe Isam Zaid, "covertly sneeking" by the nurses and doctors station" into my room located in the restricted ICU, "solicit employment" in violation of the law especially while I was mentally and physically incapacitated. This visit to the ICU was "NOT" requested by me or my Doctors or nurses or my POA or any family members requesting hire or visit me in ICU or needing a attorney because I had one in Dallas. They knew my condition by 1-Being informed by my POA the day b4 of my condition, 2- By my inattention as I was going in and out of sleep because of the various drugs, 3- sluring of my speech, 4- my inability to sign in my usual writing. I was not "competent" to make "any decisions thats why I was still in the ICU ". They planned and executed this theft by deceit/trick to the smallest detail, example they had a printed and pre-prepard a retainer form, which was pre signed by Attorney John K. Zaid, owner of the firm prior to their arrival in ICU.This form signed in a skribley / blured signature which is not reconisible as my usual signature, including the list of medication, valdates my diminished mental capacity due to excessive opiod drugs in the ICU that kept me in a haluciating state for 26 days. In order to enrich themselfs by more than $ 70,000.00 The total "in" Hospital bills exceeded $ 800,000.00 + continued medical outpatient and medication to this day. Lastly my automobile was destroyed so bad that Seabrook FD had to use the "Jaws" of life to extract me from my my vehicle This MVA was a slam dunk undisputed MVA case, which was resolved in 10 days by the insurance companies who sent the one of the checks to my home without knowledge of these attorney's
Summary Sam Veenstra and Joe I. Zaid also violated Rule 1.02 (2) of the Texas Rules of Professional Conduct, and several others!. The,Texas.Penal Code - § 38.12 (2), clearly states: A person commits an "offense" if, with intent to "obtain an economic" benefit, the person: (2) "solicits" employment, either in person or by telephone", I did not or could not request legal assitance because I lacked the mental capacity" to hire and sign any documents.
My family, or my POA had not requested any Attorney to handle this MVA nor did they ask for permission. If I needed one I had a well qualified Attorney in Dallas.
Their violation of the Texas Penal" Codeillegaly enriched each in the amount of $ 22,222.22. These three Attorneys also cheated me out of recovering from Medicare recovery of non MVA related billings, and after stealing this money refusing to recover the court ordered $ 13,000.00 "judgement" from the driver or owner of the vehicle who T- boned the MVA.Scamming Attorney Sam Veenstra also cost me in a previous HOA settlement that he had been hired for previous to the MVA to the tune an additional $ 9,000.00 after I settled it on a amount that included all charges and payments by me b4 the settlement by falsely stating after settlement he had "forgotten to bill the expenses prior to mediation". He also violated Rule 1.02 (2) of the Texas BAR Rules of Conduct.
These three disgusting Attorney's enriched themselves with my monies which still need for my medical welfar. These 3 Attorneys should be "disbarred" for life.Friday 12th April 2024
Zygmund Kawczynski5 StarI found Veenstra law firm through a google search, the law firm was located close to my home. I spoke to Sam approximately 7 months prior to using his law firm, but he still remembered our conversation, Once I made the decision to sign the contract and agreed to the cost for his services, I prepared myself for a long drawn out costly back and forth in this divorce.(which never happened, just simply signed paperwork using Email and DocuSign), I am seeing two other friends going through the same situation, using different law firms, and at a cost that totally shocked me, (3-4-X) the cost.
With Veenstra law firm the cost was within my affordability, and the time between signing the contract and the day of the final divorce decree was made official. Was in the same year that I made the initial call to the law firm.
I’m not sure why someone would want to pay 3-4 times the cost for the same results
Regardless, I’m glad that my divorce was settled in less than 4 months.
Thank you Sam.Saturday 7th January 2023
Jason Hall5 StarSam did an excellent job representing my family after Hurricane Harvey. He was honest, prompt, fair, and reasonable with every aspect of our case. I appreciated his common sense approach to things that had a way of working through our emotions to get to the facts at hand. The individual attention we received throughout the process was pleasantly surprising. I highly recommend Sam for your legal needs.Monday 8th April 2019
